Summer 2016 (Ravelry) UFO Club - The List/Q3 FAL Goals

Welcome to another edition of Wonderful Wednesday!!  Yes, I know that I didn't label the post as such, but signing up for the UFO Club is one of the highlights of EVERY quarter!

Sign-ups for Summer 2016 UFO Club are now CLOSED.  By now, you may even remember the drill... All participants MUST register 5 (or MORE) UFOs by Midnight (EDT) on July 7, 2016 in order to qualify for The Club.  Projects MUST be completed by Midnight (EDT) on September 30, 2016 in order to count toward the totals for the session.  Happy Finishing!!!

My list looks very much like it did for the last session... with the exception of my THREE finishes accomplished during the Spring 2016 (Ravelry) UFO Club.  HOORAY!!!

While the projects remain the same, the priority list has changed...

I plan to focus on the following quilts:

The Tennis T-Quilt... (DONE!!! 8/18/16)

The majority of blocks are stabilized and a preliminary layout has been set.

And... Dr. Pete's Wedding Quilt, which is a quilt top waiting for borders:

The List looks like it has for QUITE some time:

2 "C" Quilts:

1. Calico Rick Rack (DONE!!! 8/17/16)

This top has proven a challenge.  Needs borders... but WHAT???

Here's what!!!

After inspiration struck, it's together and MOST of the quilting has been done!!

2. Circle of Friends

I've got a plan for the borders... just have to execute the plan.

3 Mystery Quilts:

3. The Margaret Mystery

I've got to make the pieced borders.

4. The Tiffany Mystery  (DONE!! 1/30/17)

This project has been sitting in a basket on the bookcase shelf for MORE THAN 10 YEARS!!

5. The Bonnie (Hunter) Mystery - GIMQ 2014

~ 48" x 63"

3 Swap Quilts:

6. Snow Star Swap

This projects has been sitting on a shelf in the closet for 9 YEARS!

7. Ravelry Red Swap

Swapped AT LEAST 5 years ago... and STILL not a quilt top!  :o((

8. Art Bee Slice Swap (which is a quilt top waiting for applique)

Blocks were swapped at the December 2014 meeting, but these stragglers were traded in January 2015. The deadline passed and I have commissions this quarter. I still have hopes of finishing it... SOON!!!

2 Other Quilts:

9. Where's Jackson?

At home
How many years CAN a dog sit on a sewing table?  Only time will tell...
All joking aside, Blackie passed away on May 24, 2016.  We miss you, buddy!

10. QE2 Goodbye Quilt

2015 WAS the year to complete this quilt... I've been in NC 17 years and it STILL didn't happen!

The balance of The List is made up of my "Pie in the Sky" hope to finish projects:

11. The Bluff Quilt, which has grown into a quilt top:  (DONE!! 8/21/17)

12. Christmas Quilt (which has been waiting for YEARS to be added to the list!)

13. Blue/Green quilt that I promised my friend's son:

AND...

14. Farther down the list is my Bonnie Hunter 2015 Winter Mystery, Allietare, which is now a set of blocks awaiting assembly:

That makes a total of 16 projects from which to choose during the Spring 2016 (Ravelry) UFO Club.  Wish me luck because (as usual) I'm gonna need it!!  BOTH of the priority quilts have to be completed by the middle of August.  Ugh!!  (At least, I have a longarm quilting machine now!!)

I'm going to try to Link Up with The 2016 Q3 Finish Along.  Because, PRIZES = extra incentive to get projects DONE!!!  Hopefully, this post will be sufficient.

Until next time...
Happy Finishing!!!
